The 2014 PMI® Research and Education Conference brought together researchers, practitioners and students from around the world. The theme, “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants: In Search of Theory and Evidence” represented:
- How research and education enables us see farther and with greater insight (“standing on the shoulders of giants”)
- How the field has moved beyond Koskela and Howell’s (2002) provocation, that there is no underlying theory in project management
- Evidence- based project management, as discussed Professor Denise Rousseau’s (2012) keynote address
The University of Maryland participated in Global Accreditation Center (GAC) session as an accredited school. We also helped eat donuts. Like us on facebook and view more photos.
