Practical skills to manage projects and teams.
The degree has equipped me with the practical skills needed to manage projects and teams. When researching master degree programs at Maryland, this program was the right fit for me; I knew this degree would help my career in the US Navy. I liked the focus on working professionals.

Professor Cable totally changed my life!
The most meaningful part of my academic career at UMD was the lifelong relationship I have developed with my professors. If you want to have a real breakthrough in life, just as I have had, you should get your education through the UMD Project Management Program.

It changed my way of thinking and learning.
The way the UMD Project Management program taught me to think and learn has really helped me deal with new challenges in my job. Having a Ph.D. in Project Management has enabled me to explore different opportunities in my field. With this degree, I can explore the larger field of engineering and science

The PM program at UMD was a great fit!
The project management knowledge I gained while studying for both my degrees helped me gain a better understanding of the project processes that both my company and NASA followed. I knew that in my career field, I’d probably end up in a role related to project management, and the distance-learning program University of Maryland offered was a great fit.

I could work full time and never miss a class.
The real life application of the content in which the courses were taught is the most meaningful aspect of UMD’s Project Management Program. I have used something from every class that I took in the program at some point in my career. The flexibility of the program was great; I could work a full time job and never miss a class, especially with access to the recorded lectures to view at any time.

I gained the tools and education I needed.
When looking for a graduate degree, I knew I wanted something that would allow me to build upon my technical engineering skills, as well as delve deeper into the planning and construction element of the industry in which I was already working. Thanks to the Clark School, I knew I had gained the tools and educational components I needed to do anything I wanted with my career.

The faculties are amazing
My master’s will be valuable for job promotion. It also makes people feel comfortable having a project manager with the education to back it up.

The technology was easy to navigate and work with.
I was a remote student and the technology was easy to navigate and work within to get the results I needed. Every time I had a question or a concern it was resolved in a very timely manner and as a project manager that meant a great deal to me. The Project Management Masters or Doctorate program at the University of Maryland is an elite program that would only further enhance any current project manager’s toolkit.
