The Graduate Certificate in Engineering (GCEN) - Project Management (PM) is offered through the Maryland Applied Graduate Engineering (MAGE). This academic certificate is designed for students enrolled in other graduate engineering degree programs in the University of Maryland A. James Clark School of engineering that want to learn the fundamentals of project management. Students completing this certificate will have an understanding and know how to apply of the fundamentals of project management and be able to effectively contribute on project teams. Completion of this four course set will provide students with a competitive advantage in the workplace.
This graduate certificate requires 12 credit hours (4 courses). The program is designed with a foundation of three core courses and one elective. All courses are shown below. These four courses are in addition to the ten courses that are required for their masters program.
