The Graduate Certificate in Engineering (GCEN) – Project Management (PM) is offered through the Maryland Applied Graduate Engineering (MAGE). Completion of this four course set will provide students with a competitive advantage in the workplace.

This academic certificate is designed for two types of students:

  1. For students enrolled in any graduate engineering degree program in the University of Maryland A. James Clark School of Engineering that want to learn the fundamentals of project management, or
  2. As a stand-alone Certificate Program for students who only want to earn the certificate, not a full masters degree. The four courses could be used as credit towards a full maters degree if the student decides to to convert later.

This graduate certificate requires 12 credit hours (4 courses). The program is designed with a foundation of two core courses and two electives. All courses are shown below.
